Every day, adoptable dogs and cats in Central Indiana shelters run out of time. Many are killed, not because they've done anything wrong, but because our shelters are overcrowded with homeless pets.
Each year, this problem gets worse. Tragically, most people have no idea these animals even exist because they are hidden away in shelters that most people never visit.
The only way to save more lives is to raise community awareness that these precious animals desperately need our help.
Sharing Shelter Pets exists to help you share their stories.
Using Facebook, we show you how to share the stories of adoptable pets that are in temporary foster homes and those that are scheduled for euthanasia.
You get to choose which animals you share as some are more urgent and in greater need than others.
You can share these curated Facebook posts with your own friends and followers. And to drastically increase the number of people who see these animals, we show you how to share these posts directly in local community-based Facebook groups.
More local visibility means more adoption opportunities. More adoption opportunities mean more of these animals will get second chances to continue their lives in new homes.

If you have an internet-connected device and a compassionate heart...you can make a difference as a Visibility Volunteer.

We don’t promise outcomes.
We increase opportunity.
